From faint whispers to a queen’s commands, Roz Stanley’s voice draws in and engages listeners of all ages. Her voice has been described as rich, rhythmic, and enchanting. Roz attributes her skilled comedic timing to her ongoing improv and character training at Upright Citizens Brigade as well as The Groundlings.
Roz earned her Theatre degree at North Greenville University and spent a semester studying theatre at Wesley Institute in Sydney, Australia. With her wide range of voices and dialects, Roz has worked extensively as an actor in professional theatre. A few of her favorite roles include The Queen of Hearts in “Alice in Wonderland”, Genie in “Aladdin”, and the Blue Fairy in “Pinocchio”. A fan of classical theatre, her Shakespeare credits include Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet", Titania in "Midsummer Night's Dream", as well as Helena in "Midsummer Night's Dream". Of all roles, Roz's all time favorite character to portray has been Dorothy Parker in "Nights at the Algonquin Round Table".
Of course, with a versatile voice Roz loves to voice the many characters that pop up in children’s and YA books, as well as romance, comedy, sci-fi and non-fiction. When she is not acting on stage or in front of the camera, Roz enjoys crafting, making balloon animals, and discovering new hiking trails.
